ADVANCED DASYLAB/INSTRUNET FEATURES SOFTWARE > DASYLAB SOFTWARE >
Version
≥ v11.0.0.152 of the DASYLab/instruNet interface (i.e. "..Program Files \ DASYLab \ iNet.dll")
provides the following features:
FEEDBACK & CONTROL
One can do output and feedback-control at slow rates (e.g. 100s/sec). For example, one
could connect an instruNet input icon to an instruNet output icon to have the output
follow the input. Or one could put a PID icon in between them to make a feedback
loop.
SET PARAMETER ICON
There is a icon, called "Set Parameter", in the instruNet menu, that writes to any field
within the instruNet system. A field is any of the cells that appear in the instruNet
Network window (e.g. sensor type, etc).
PRESS ANY INSTRUNET WORLD BUTTON WITH A DASYLAB ICON
If you use the "Set Parameter" icon with the {DRIVER, DRIVER, DRIVER, PUSH
BUTTON, GENERAL, COMMAND} field, then you can have the icon press any
instruNet World button. For example, to press the Calibrate button in the Network
page, one would set this field to 22. To see what numbers you use to press other
buttons, search for "iNet_btnpress_command_ fieldValue" in file "instruNet \
iNet_INT.H".
TO BALANCE STRAIN GAGES & LOAD CELLS FROM DASYLAB
To do this, one must first set up the Calibration button to balance the strain gages & load cells.
One does this by setting the Cal Button to "Bal Gages" (or "Bal Bridges").
This can be done in one of 2 ways: (1) Open instruNet World window from within
DASYLab, press Record, press Setup, press Calibrate, set "Cal Button" to "Bal Gage".
(2) Use the SET PARAMETER ICON to set the {DRIVER, DRIVER, DRIVER, DRIVER,
CAL-OPTIONS, CAL-BUTTON} to 2 (Bal Gages). You cannot press the Calibrate
button while it is digitizing. In other words, if you are digitizing and want to calibrate, you need to turn digitizing off, calibrate, and then turn it
back on.
